A prestigious ceremony was held at Pakistan International School Jeddah – English Section in honour of the students who graduated in 2022.The Chief Guest invited to the function was Consul General of Pakistan, Mr. Khalid Majeed along with other distinguished guests, parents and teachers. On this occasion, the entire school was uniquely decorated including the auditorium.
The ceremony was formally inaugurated with the recitation of the Holy Quran and its translation, followed by the playing of the national anthems of both Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
The principal of the school, Mr. Adnan Nasir, in his welcome address congratulated the graduate students and said that this graduation can be considered as the culmination of your school life but in fact, this opportunity is just a stepping stone in your life and it is the starting point of a journey that will give you new struggles to conquer at every step. Always keep the candle of knowledge burning and be a responsible and worthy person for your country specifically and for the whole world in general so that your enlightened identity remains as a dignified student of this great seminary and a patriotic Pakistani.
The interest and passion you have shown in participating in academic and nonacademic (extracurricular) activities has made you a source of pride for PISJ.
On this occasion, Consul General of Pakistan Mr. Khalid Majeed, while congratulating the graduates of the school said that it was a matter of great satisfaction for him that the students of Pakistan International School Jeddah- English Section have a strong foundation of academic and high moral training that will make a name for themselves worldwide. Addressing the students, he said, “Keep up your hard work and leave it all to Allah.” You should be proud that you belong to an institution which is known to be one of the best institutions there is for which faculty members and especially Principal Adnan Nasir deserve heartiest congratulations. The Consul General extended a special congratulations to the parents of the students on the occasion and said that this success of the children would not have been possible without your cooperation, hard work and moral support.
At the ceremony, the Principal and the Chief Guest distributed certificates and shields to all the students. At the end of the ceremony, the students took group photos with the Principal and Chief Guest and cut the graduation cake.—PR
