Govt urged to present civil award to Nasir Saleem

The America Pakistan Business Development Forum (AMPAK-BDF) has demanded the Government of Pakistan to present Pakistani-born Deputy Chief of New York Police NasirSaleem a civil award. NasirSaleem is on a tour of his native country these days and recently a dinner was hosted by ZeeshanAltafLohya, Chairman AMPAK-BDF in his honour at a local hotel.
Addressing the gathering, MrLohya said that it was an honour for Nasir Salem to receive the award from the United States. He is the pride of Pakistan and has served the New York police for 40 years.
The AMPAK chief requested the Government of Pakistan to honourNasirSaleem with a civil award for making the country proud.
The forum President Sheikh ImtiazHussain said, “We are proud of NasirSaleem and his services for Pakistani diaspora should be acknowledged by our government.’
In his address, General Secretary NasirWajahat said that AMPAK was very much in liaison with Pakistani institutions in the United States and trying its level best to promote cordial relations between Pakistan and the United States.
Warm welcome was given to NasirSaleem when he came to the podium to speak to the august audience. The distinguished guest said he was grateful to the America Pakistan Business Development Forum for so much encouragement and respect.
NasirSaleem advised those who want to migrate to the US that they should keep in charities there with charities so that it will be easier to understand the culture and language of that land. His announcement that he names his US award to his motherland received a thunderous applause from the gathering.
MrNasir also paid tribute to those who sacrificed their lives in the fight against terrorism. A minute silence was observed in memory of the martyrs.
NasirSaleem was also conferred upon a special award by the America-Pakistan Business Development Forum.
