Raising objections to the presence of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) police outside former prime minister and PTI Chairman Imran Khan’s residence at Banigala in Islamabad, the Interior Ministry on Friday directed the heads of these forces to call back the police personnel deployed there.
The ministry has made this clear to them that police personnel from other provinces could not be deployed in the jurisdiction of Islamabad without permission and neither the federal capital administration has requested.—INP
