During address at Jahangir University’s 21st annual degree distribution ceremony, Sindh Governor Mohammad Kamran Khan Tessori emphasized the vital role of positivity and women’s empowerment in society.
During the event, where 608 graduates received their degrees, Chancellor Wajihudin Ahmed and Vice Chancellor Professor Naeemur Rehman welcomed the governor, along with a large number of parents and faculty members. Governor Tessori expressed his gratitude, particularly praising the efforts of Vice Chancellor Wajihudin Ahmed for his exceptional services to women’s education. He encouraged parents to continue supporting their daughters even after they complete their education, urging them to utilize their skills for societal betterment.
He congratulated all graduates and encouraged them to play an active role in the country’s progress, highlighting the importance of their positive mindset. Reflecting on his tenure as governor, Tessori recounted his commitment to serving the people and thanked Allah for the opportunity. He noted the immense turnout at Governor House for Iftar dinners, where over 450,000 people have been served.
He highlighted various initiatives for economic development and educational opportunities, including free IT courses for 50,000 students and laptop distributions. He concluded by encouraging everyone to set goals and remain steadfast in their intentions, emphasizing that anything is achievable with determination.
