Governor Sindh Muhammad Kamran Khan Tessori, emphasized that Pakistan provides full religious freedom to followers of all faiths, but the nation currently faces several challenges. He was speaking at the International Interfaith Peace Conference held at Governor House, titled “Respect for Humanity, Interfaith Harmony, Violence-Free Society, and Promotion of Paigham-e-Pakistan.”
The conference was attended by religious leaders from various faiths, including Chairman of Pakistan’s Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee, Maulana Syed Muhammad Abdul Khabir Azad. Governor Tessori noted that society is facing a lack of tolerance and stressed the need to promote inter-sectarian and interfaith harmony, calling it essential for today’s world. He also highlighted the need for changes in societal attitudes to foster a more peaceful and cohesive environment. Tessori congratulated the organizers on the successful event, describing it as a commendable effort.
