Governor Sindh Muhammad Kamran Khan Tessori emphasized the crucial role of religious scholars in addressing the challenges faced by the nation. He urged scholars to spread the message of Islam from their pulpits and mosques. The governor made these remarks during a meeting with Maulana Mufti Muhammad TaqiUsmani at JamiaDarulUloom Karachi. Upon his arrival at JamiaDarulUloom Karachi, the governor was welcomed by Mufti Dr. NaumanNaeem.
During the meeting, detailed discussions took place on promoting religious harmony during Muharram and the significant role of scholars in this regard. Governor Tessori praised the efforts of religious scholars in fostering harmony during Muharram and stressed that the collective efforts of scholars are essential in overcoming the nation’s challenges. Special prayers were also offered for the progress and prosperity of the country and its people.
