Governor, MNA discuss interfaith harmony

Member National Assembly J Prakash Lohanacalled on Governor Sindh Imran Ismail at the Governor House on Thursday and expressed his condemnation on the incident of burning of a temple in Teddi district of Karak by miscreants. The Governor Sindh telephoned Governor KPKMahmoodKhan , who said that three hundred accused have been arrested as a result of immediate action on this incident. The investigation is ongoing and all the accused involved in the incident will be brought to book, the Governor KPK asserted. Khan said, “The Prime Minister is personally overseeing the investigation. No concessions will be made with the elements involved. The conviction of the accused will really ensure punishment.” Imran Ismail told the MNA that the present government is taking all possible steps to ensure the free worship of all religions. “We are taking definite steps for interfaith harmony.” The MNA said that anti-national elements want to harm the country’s integrity with their nefarious conspiracies. But he added that these conspiracies will not be allowed to succeed.
