Governor Sindh Muhammad Kamran Khan Tessori distributed aid cheques, mobile phones, and bikes to over a thousand victims of street crimes during a ceremony at the Governor House on Saturday. Additionally, laptops were given to IT students through a lottery system. During the event, the Governor handed a mobile phone to a 13-year-old IT student. Addressing the attendees, Governor Tessori emphasized that these charitable acts are carried out through personal initiatives and with the support of philanthropists. He announced a collaboration with Saylani Welfare to provide free breakfasts to 12,000 school children in the first phase.
The Governor also highlighted the ongoing distribution of ration bags under the Governor Initiative’s ‘Empowered Pakistan’ program and the provision of funds to young entrepreneurs who prepare business proposals under the Employment Scheme. He expressed gratitude to those supporting these efforts and noted the positive impact of IT education, which is now providing income opportunities in dollars for students, contributing to their economic well-being.
