Gold maintains gaining streak in Pakistan; check latest rates

KARACHI – Gold prices in Pakistan continued the gaining streak in line with the upward trend in the international market on Friday.

Sarafa association in its latest statistics showed per tola gold price surged by Rs1,300 to Rs212,400 in the domestic market.

The price of 10-gram gold increased by Rs1,115 to settle at Rs182,099. In international market, the price of the precious metal went up by $12 to $2,025 per ounce.

On Thursday, the per-tola price of 24-karat gold increased by Rs300 and was sold at Rs211,100 in the local market.

For 10 grams of 24-karat, the price saw a drop of Rs257 and the new rate stands at Rs180,984. Meanwhile, the 10-gram 22-karat gold went up to Rs165,902 from Rs165,666 on Thursday.
