Sindh Minister for Local Government, Housing, Town Planning, Public Health Engineering, and Rural Development, Saeed Ghani, announced that a commission will soon present its report to the judiciary on the health certificates and mulching fees issue between Gadap and Ibrahim Hyderi Towns. Speaking at his office during two separate meetings and a review of the Nehr-e-Khayam mega project in Clifton, Ghani emphasized the importance of resolving issues swiftly for the benefit of the public.

During a Local Government Commission meeting attended by Additional Chief Secretary Local Government Syed Khalid Haider Shah, Commission Member Abdul Rahim Soomro, and others, discussions focused on the health certificates and mulching fees for livestock between Gadap and Ibrahim Hyderi Towns.

The commission agreed to prepare a report for the judiciary based on members’ opinions. The meeting also addressed a boundary dispute between Korangi and Shah Faisal Towns, hearing arguments from Korangi Town Chairman Naeem Sheikh and Shah Faisal Town Chairman Gohar Khattak. The commission deferred this issue to the next meeting. Later, Saeed Ghani chaired a Public Health Engineering meeting with Secretary Public Health Engineering Sohail Qureshi, Chief Engineer Pak Awais Muhammad Irshad, and other officials.

They discussed the 4.5 million gallons per day (MGD) water supply RO plant in Dadu and the 0.5 MGD plant in Manora, Karachi. Ghani directed officials to survey Dadu’s water distribution system and present a report within 48 hours, ensuring no hurdles in water supply. He also called for upgrading Manora’s water distribution system. Saeed Ghani highlighted the Pakistan People’s Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s vision to provide clean drinking water across Sindh and stressed the government’s commitment to achieving this goal.
