The Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA) has declared February 9 as the “Day of Salvation” in Sindh. Sardar Abdul Rahim, the Secretary of Information for GDA, made these statements while addressing party workers at Function Hall. He expressed optimism that the end of the 15-year dark era in Sindh would mark the beginning of a period of development and prosperity.
Sardar Abdul Rahim stated that the People’s Party’s election commission alliance with the GDA has thwarted any attempts of foul play on the election day. He emphasized that if anyone attempts any malpractices on the day of the election, the public’s power will thwart such conspiracies. He criticized the PPP, stating that the Zardari mafia has forgotten its manifesto, and PPP leaders are now speaking childishly due to GDAs growing influence.
Highlighting the performance of PPP’s 15-year rule, Sardar Abdul Rahim mentioned that there was zero progress in the governance of the PPP. He criticized the lack of job opportunities based on merit for the youth and the deteriorating education system. He accused the PPP of misusing the health budget, leading to broken roads and poisonous water for the public. Regarding mega projects in Sindh, Sardar Abdul Rahim argued that the PPP government has completely failed.
He called attention to the electricity, gas, expensive commodities, and broken roads, providing poisoned water for the public. He stated that the public is disheartened by their actions, and under GDA’s manifesto, they will solve public issues, bringing happiness and progress. Sardar Abdul Rahim condemned the oppression by the usurping rulers during the floods, leaving the people helpless.
He pledged that the flood victims will seek retribution through votes on February 8. He declared that GDA promises to hold Zardari’s mafia accountable for each penny looted from the nation once in power.
