The Pasban-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir has appealed to the world leaders, participating in the G20 Summit in New Delhi, India, to play their due role in resolution of the Kashmir dispute.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Pasban-e-Hurriyat Chairman Uzair Ahmad Ghazali in a statement issued in Muzaffarabad said that the presence of more than one million Indian soldiers in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir is a sign of fear and terror for the Kashmiri people.

He said the Indian government has denied the human, political, social and religious rights of the people in occupied Jammu and Kashmir. He said, on the one hand, the heads of the G20 countries are holding a conference under the title “One Land, One Family, One Future” in New Delhi and, on the other, India is committing the worst kind of atrocities on the people in IIOJK.

He said the Indian government is suppressing every voice raised for freedom, right to self-determination and justice in occupied Jammu and Kashmir and called on the G20 leaders to help stop imperialist measures like occupation of people’s lands and properties and confiscation of houses and other properties in Kashmir.

Uzair Ahmad Ghazali said the Indian govern-ment is using the G20 Summit to hide its war crimes in occupied Jammu and Kashmir and the disastrous situation of human rights in several states of India.—KMS
