Fuel shortage looms large over Islamabad, Rawalpindi

Fuel shortage fears are increasing in the twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi and northern parts including Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan after All Pakistan Oil Contractors Association went on a strike, on Thursday following a breakdown of talks with the district administration over tankers’ entry timings.
The All Pakistan Oil Contractors Association suspended the oil supply to petrol pumps in Rawalpindi and Islamabad.
The TV channel reported that the petrol pump owners certified that pumps will be closed if oil supply would not be resumed till evening.
