Muhammad Usman

IT is the first time that Pakistan has aggressively unveiled an all-encompassing dossier, containing irrefutable evidence of Indian-sponsored terrorism inside Pakistan. Undoubtedly, this shows the real face of India, masked behind democracy and secularism. Pakistan did not mince words to uncover Indian machinations, down to tactical levels to destabilise Pakistan. Indian objectives are multifaceted: Impede Pakistan’s progress towards peace, cause economic instability, create political turmoil and trigger chaos in Pakistan. Its brass tacks include diverse strategies/tactics to achieve its ultimate aim of destabilizing Pakistan. Indian intelligence agencies are patronizing terrorist outfits, hostile to Pakistan namely, TTP, BLA and JuA, flushed out of Pakistan but now housed in Afghanistan. They are doing it to the extent of establishing a consortium between them. They are busy day and night to finance, train and harbour them to perpetuate terrorism/insurgency in Pakistan. Recent upsurge in violence in Pakistan is a direct consequence of their intensified engagements with them. A clear correlation could also be seen readily between CPEC and terrorist attacks in Balochistan to throttle its pace of development and sow doubts about its viability. A strong militia of 700 men has been put together to sabotage CPEC under a commission of 24 members which also includes 10 RAW operatives. Indian macabre scheme is not only confined to the frontiers of Pakistan. Its mischief is also equally active abroad. This could be seen at FATF where it is trying ceaselessly to undermine Pakistan’s efforts to get out from the grey list. Its exclusive purpose is economic coercion of Pakistan. The evidence of extensive lobbying by India is too obvious to miss out.
Pakistan intends to present dossier to UN, OIC and P5 to underline dire realization of the threat to peace which India poses to entire region and equally the need to restrain India. Surely, Pakistan would also like to remind the world about its sovereign right to defend itself in every way possible nevertheless, this exercise is not new. Pakistan also did it in 2015 where it presented three similar dossiers to the UN but to no avail. Underlying reason was non-pursuance. Rest, it is futile to be talked about. Now Pakistan has a government which shows resolve to guard national interests regardless of what it entails. Traditionally, world listens to India and whatever Pakistan talks, falls on deaf ears. Main reasons are the huge Indian consumer market, diplomatic resourcefulness and media wiles. Pakistan needs to counter these to bring home the message it intends to give to the world to understand. India offers a huge market to the world. A business could only flourish in an atmosphere of peace and tranquillity which is fast becoming obscure in Indian landmass. The ever rising Hindu chauvinism could implode India from within and without from what India is doing in its neighbourhood. It is playing with fire and fire tends to produce explosions and between two nuclear armed neighbours, a nuclear conflagration too. Pakistan is a nuclear state and has the capability to confront India point blank. Its patience is not also inexhaustible. Though the dossier carries information and evidence about Indian mischief specific to Pakistan but for the sake of regional peace/interests of the world, Pakistan needs to apprise them of what Hindu majority is doing internally to subjugate their minorities. Indian Constitution, promulgated by Nehru was basically a façade, being bereft of native egalitarian spirit but somehow it managed to hold India together.
With Nehru’s demise in 1964, it started decaying. Now it is rotting full-blown at the hands of BJP, riding on the ideological bandwagon of RSS which is the holding company of Hindu supremacism. Basically, it was the personality of Nehru, not the Constitution which did the trick. Probably, this was the reason which prompted Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto to predict – key of Indian unity has also gone into Ganga River with ashes of Nehru. Possibly, he saw the rise of Hinduism soon which happened in 1978. BJP appeared on horizon and took it by storm within a couple of decades and blissfully, India is reaping the harvest of fissures within its polity under its watch. The state institutions: Judiciary, EC, investigative agencies and media have fallen to what Hindu majority hints at. Hindu-dominated Parliament is after the Constitution. The Citizen Amendment Act 2019 and revoking of its 370 and 35-A Articles related to IoK manifest this beyond doubt. India is no more a Secular State but an authoritative state with tyranny of Hindu majority. Its ensuing implications for a heterogeneous country like India needs no elaboration. This has made India virtually a tinderbox. The world could only ignore it at its own perils. In tandem with this, the world also needs to be made aware of resistance of Kashmiri people in backdrop of Indian occupation, continuing repression and attempts to change demography of the area after abrogation of 35-A Article of Indian constitution. The repression is violence and violence breeds violence. Pakistan is under obligation to support just cause of Kashmiri people for their right of self-determination. Hopefully, a narrative, composed of all above, would elicit positive response from the world because it is also in their interests. There is a definite need to pool up diplomats/intellectuals who could hold against the best and employ them imaginatively to trump Indian diplomatic manoeuvres/subterfuge. Our media has the potential to overhaul Indian media blitz. They need to rise to the occasion. Lastly, our narrative needs to be communicated repeatedly. Ironically, repeated statements are perceived more truthful than statements made infrequently because repetition breeds familiarity which in return, invokes trust.
