Five persons including the driver of a vehicle were killed in a road accident in Ganderbal district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, today.
Officials said that a vehicle with at least seven persons on board plunged into a gorge near Zojila Pass on the Srinagar-Leh highway.
They said that four persons hailing from the Indian state of Kerala and driver of the vehicle died in the mishap. They added that two other passengers suffered minor injuries in the mishap.
Meanwhile, a 30-year-old woman identified as Parveen Begum died after she fell off from a ridge while collecting firewood in Mandi area of Poonch district.—KMS
