Pakistan Hockey Federation has started activities of the game after the situation of Corona getting better in the country. In this regard a physical fitness training camp of the national junior players will start today at Army Physical Fitness School Abbotabad for the preparation of the upcoming Junior Asia Cup Hockey Tournament to be played in Dhaka/ Bangladesh from 21st to 30th January 20121.
Pakistan hockey federation who have shortage of funds recently got a life line from Army Chief who approved grant of rupees 5 crore for the PHF.
This camp will Improve the stamina and groom the probable on modern scientific lines said a PHF official. Federation has nominate Olympian Danish Kaleem as head coach of the national junior team while Zaheer Ahmad Babar, Muhammad Imran, Mudassar Khan and Zahid Afzal will assist him in the camp.
On the recommendation of Chairman Selection Committee Manzoor Junior, President Pakistan Hockey Federation Brigadier (R) Khalid Sajjad Khokhar approved the following 35 players for the camp.
