Fishermen hold Aashiqan-e-Rasool rally

Ashiqan Rasool’s launch rally resounded with the slogans of Labaik Rasoolullah was staged a boat rally on Sunday. Muhammad Amin Attari of Dawat-e-Islami also participated in the event.
According to details, the boat rally of fishermen in connection with the celebrations of Eid-ul-Milad-un-Nabi was started by led by NEFA President and Director Fishermen’s Cooperative Society Iqbal Bhatti, it took place from Bhatt Island. Muhammad Amin Attari, a member of the Majlis-e-Shura of Dawa-e-Islami, specially participated in the launch rally. Loudspeakers were specially arranged at the boats participating in the rally.
The religious fervor of the participants was at its peak and they kept raising slogans Labaik Ya Rasoolullah and Marhaba and other famous chants. President NEFA and Director Fishermen’s Cooperative SocietyvIqbal Bhatti presented the gifts to Muhammad Amin Attari of Dawa-e-Islami.
On this occasion, Asif Iqbal Bhatti said that fishermen living on ocean islands are lovers of the Prophet and they always celebrate the birth of their Holy Prophet with great enthusiasm every year. He prayed that they will always celebrate Eid Milad-un-Nabi in a dignified manner till the end of time.
Meanwhile, He said that since the ecology of territorial waters and livelihoods in provinces would be harmed deeply, it was indeed the constitutional privilege of the provinces to reject the policy as an illegitimate exercise of federal jurisdiction over the EEZ.
“Our grave objection to this action is two-fold,” he said. “It threatens the livelihoods of small fishermen by depriving them of catch today, and in the future by ecologically destructive practices of these vessels.”
