Ghani Dumba Karahi among 32 premises sealed in Lahore

LAHORE—The Traffic Engineering and Transport Planning Agency (TEPA) of the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) continued operations against illegal signboards and violations of parking bylaws in Lahore.

TEPA’s enforcement wing sealed Ghani Dumba Karavhi, Kips, and 29 more premises on Canal Bank Road, Khayaban-e-Firdousi Johar Town, and PIA Road for violating parking bylaws.

The sealed premises include a coffee shop, travel agent, estate office, book shop, gym, saloon, restaurants, and outlets of famous brands. TEPA Director  Enforcement Jawad Kamran supervised the operation, which was carried out with the help of the Police.

According to the LDA officials, several notices were served to the owners of these buildings before the operation was carried out.
LDA Director General Tahir Farooq has directed continuing indiscriminate operations against violations of building and parking bylaws, encroachments, and illegal commercial use in Lahore.
