Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader, Dr. Yasmin Rashid has said that the wheat growers have to pay for the wrong decision of the caretaker government.
She called for conducting transparent inquiry into the matter to trace out the responsible of the dilemma.
In an informal chat with media on the occasion of her appearance in the Special Anti-Terrorism Court on Thursday, Dr Yasmin Rashid said that the farmers were forced to sell wheat at half price which was vindictive.
Expressing her sorrow over the plight of the farmer, she questioned whether it was democracy where the growers were not allowed to record their protest and brutally tortured and arrested by police.
