Entrepreneurs instrumental in spurring social change, improving people’s life

In order to create awareness among the students about entrepreneurship and career building, the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) launched an entrepreneurship programme at the Islamabad College for Girls (ICG) F-6/2.
The chief guest on the occasion was Ahsan Zafar Bakhtawari, President of the ICCI.
Bakhtawari has been a student at ICG, F-6/2 during his early education days. While addressing on the occasion, Ahsan Zafar Bakhtawari expressed his pleasure to visit his alma mater and his wish to give something back to the institution that played a vital role in his success. He announced the establishment of a new computer lab for ICG F-6/2 in collaboration with Chamber of Commerce. He also expressed his desire to contribute towards the renovation of the infrastructure of the college. During his stay in college he also visited his junior classes and had a chat with the students, inspiring and motivating them to become strong pillars of the nation. Entrepreneurship is the process of developing, organizing, and running a new business to generate income and bring a positive contribution towards society, he said adding entrepreneurs have been instrumental in spurring social change and improving the way people live and work. They help raise the standard of living for everyone by creating jobs and making products safer, less expensive and more functional.
