The Excise Narcotics Control team in Korangi successfully carried out a raid, arresting two drug dealers and seizing 4 kilograms of ‘Ice’ (methamphetamine) near an Imam Bargah in Landhi Babar Market. The arrested suspects, Abdul Rehman son of QadirBakhsh and NaseerGul son of AsarlaiGul, were found in possession of 4 kilograms of Ice.
Following their arrest, the Excise Narcotics Control team conducted another raid based on the suspects’ information. During this operation, a gunfight occurred between the suspects and the narcotics team, though no injuries were reported. The second raid led to the recovery of seven packets of high-quality hashish weighing 7 kilograms, although the suspects managed to escape. Excise officials stated that one of the fugitive accomplices has a criminal record, which has been obtained. A case has been registered against the suspects, and after obtaining a remand from the court, an investigation has commenced.
