Provincial Minister of Universities and Boards, Muhammad Ali Malkani, reiterated the Sindh government’s commitment to prioritize the development of the education sector. Malkani emphasized that without education, true development remains elusive. He highlighted ongoing projects aimed at bringing significant improvements to the sector, promising a positive transformation in the near future.
Speaking at the magazine launch of the Alumni Association Government College University Hyderabad (Karachi Chapter), Malkani celebrated the rich history of the institution, which has nurtured leaders in various fields over its century-long existence. Prominent alumni include former Chief Minister Syed Abdullah Shah, former Prime Minister Raja Parvez Ashraf, and former Governor of State Bank Dr. IshratHussain, among others. Provincial Ombudsman Dr. Sohail Rajput, an alumnus of the college, pledged his support for its development, echoing Malkani’s sentiments.
Karachi Chapter Secretary Amin Yousuf expressed readiness to collaborate on projects, particularly emphasizing environmental initiatives like the Phuleli canal project. The event featured presentations on ongoing and future projects by Amin Yousuf and remarks from Pro. Dr. TayabbaZarif and President of Alumni Association Rehman Rajput. Ayesha Amin and Professor JavedIqbal presided as masters of ceremony, underscoring the significance of the occasion.
