IG Sindh GhulamNabiMemon chaired a comprehensive review meeting regarding reforms in the Sindh Police Operations department. Consideration was given to factors such as population, crime rates, sensitivity, and distances in discussions regarding the establishment and amalgamation of police stations. Further recommendations were made to arrange more proposals based on standards, experience, capability, and skills for appointments of SHOs, SIs, and other staff. It was emphasized that police stations should provide more community-friendly reforms and additional manpower to assist in establishing peace and security. “We aim to make police station services more positive and effective for the public,” said GhulamNabiMemon. The purpose of strengthening operational and investigative talent is to arrange schedules for regular courses to enhance the utilization of standardized courses, workshops, and lectures.
