Dry weather likely to prevail in most areas of country

Mainly dry weather is likely to prevail in most areas of the country while cold in Northern areas during the next twelve hours.

Temperature of some major cities recorded this morning:
Islamabad eleven degree centigrade, Murree nine, Lahore seventeen, Karachi twenty-one, Peshawar thirteen, Quetta seven, Gilgit five and Muzaffarabad eight degree centigrade.

According to Met Office forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, partly cloudy and dry weather is expected in Srinagar, Pulwama, Baramula, Anantnag, Shopian Jammu and Leh.

Temperature recorded this morning: Srinagar, Shopian and Baramula four degree centigrade, Jammu twelve, Leh minus five, Pulwama and Anantnag three degree centigrade.

However, rain wind-thunderstorm, snowfall over high mountains, is expected at isolated places in northeastern Punjab, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir.—Agencies
