The draft bill of legal reforms on prevention & control of cyber crimes against children under the supervision of National Child Commissioner of Federal Ombudsman Mr. Ejaz Ahmed Qureshi has been finalized.
It is pertinent to mention that under the umbrella of National Commissioner for Children Mr. Ejaz A. Qureshi of WMS held a Strategic Coordination Meeting to Strengthen Child Protection Mechanism at Lahore under the headship of the Federal Ombudsman Syed Tahir Shahbaz.
Syed Tahir Shahbaz had said that children’s issues were close to our heart and collective efforts of parents, educational Institutions and the government were needed for the protection of children in the present environment.
He further said that the present environment of the society was unsafe for the children, therefore, abuse of children needed to be curbed at greater level.
He emphasized the need for strengthening the institutional mechanism for children protection in the country.
He also underscored the need to chalk out a strategic plan of action in resolving the issues of the children.
