KARACHI – The Karachi Electric has announced an extension in deadline for payment of electricity bills in line with the orders of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
The KE serves over 3.4 million customers across Karachi, Dhabeji and Gharo in Sindh, and Uthal, Vinder and Bela in Balochistan.
A spokesperson for the company said the due date for electricity bill had been extended by 10 days, adding that consumers can pay their bills until August 10.
He said those who had paid their bills with a late payment surcharge will be adjusted in next month.
Last week, PM Shehbaz had directed to extend date of payment for electricity bills by 10 days. In this regard, the Power Division also issued a notification for all electricity distribution companies.
The relief will be provided on bill for July and August 2024.

Enter your Account Number and Consumer number
Click view bill
