In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party (DFP) has strongly condemned extra-judicial kill-ings of five more Kashmiris by Indian forces in Kashmir.
The DFP spokesman, Advocate Arshad Iqbal in a statement issued in Srinagar on Tuesday, said that the martyrdom of five youth in south Kashmir dur-ing the past three days speaks volumes about the fast-deteriorating human rights situation in the oc-cupied territory.
Referring to the killing of over a dozen Kash-miri youth by Indian troops during cordon and search operation in the current month of December, Iqbal said that the extra-judicial killings of youth in fake encounters and CASOs have precipitously risen during the past several months. Terming the fresh killing spree as part of Indian government’s malicious campaign of cowing down Kashmiris into submission, the DFP spokesman said that the Indian authorities must bear in mind the fact that no amount of oppression or force can break the will of the valiant Kashmiri people, who have been struggling for their inalienable right to self-determination.
Terming systematic killing of Kashmiri youth as genocide, he said that the international community must shun its policy of indifference towards Kash-miris and hold Indian government.—INP
