New Delhi-controlled State Investigation Unit has seized the residential house of a Kashmiri civilian in Islamabad district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, today. the attached house is located in Subhanpora, Bijbhera area of the district.
In a statement issued in Srinagar, today, Indian police said that its SIU Shopian under the close supervision of DIG SIU Kashmir and SSP Shopian seized the residential house of the youth named Abdul Rehman Ganai.
The police claimed that the house had been used by mujahideen in the past. However, the family members as well as neighbours rejected the Indian police’s claim and said that it was the old tactics of the Modi regime to seal the properties of the Kashmiri people on baseless charges.—KMS
