Federal Minister for Education Shafqat Mahmood has said that a meeting of inter-provincial education ministers will be held on January 4 to decide the opening of the educational institutions. The meeting will review the situation and we are trying to open educational institutions soon.
According to details, Federal Minister for Education Shafqat Mehmood while talking to media said that a meeting of inter-provincial education ministers will be held on January 4 regarding the opening of educational institutions. The situation will be reviewed in the meeting. The health of children is the first priority and the decision to open educational institutions will be taken on January 4.
Speaking on Pakistan Democratic (PDM), Shafqat Mehmood said that internal differences among party leaders were not over, internal problems of JUI-F had started, they did not have enough strength to do anything. It may be mentioned that Federal Ministry of Education Shafqat Mahmood has convened a meeting of inter-provincial education ministers in Lahore on December 30 in which a final decision will be taken on conducting examinations under the boards and starting the new academic year from August. He summoned the education ministers of the four provinces to attend the meeting to finalize the plan.
A three-point agenda will be discussed in the meeting. A decision will be taken in the meeting of education ministers regarding holding board examinations in June and May. The agenda for starting the new academic year from August will be discussed. A final decision will also be made on the reduction of summer vacations.
In addition, the agenda of health issues regarding reopening of educational institutions will also be included in the meeting. After taking recommendations from the education ministers, the policy for educational institutions will be finalized unanimously.
