DC directs to launch crackdown on quacks

Deputy Commissioner Attock Rao Atif Raza on Saturday while presiding of the meeting of district quality control board has directed the health authorities to launch indiscriminate crackdown against the eradication of quackery in the district. The meeting was also attended by the Chief Executive Officer Health Attock Dr. Asad Ismail, Secretary district drugs control along with all drugs inspectors and other members of the committee.

The Deputy Commissioner also imposed huge fine, issued warning with the direction of rechecking after hearing the case of various medical stores and pharmacies. Earlier, Deputy Commissioner Attock Rao Atif Raza while kicking off the education drive 2023 here the Government MC Boys Schools Attock has also urged upon the education department to achieve the targeted enrolment of 6778 children from five to fourteen years which was also attended by CEO Education Attock Malik Mohsin Abbas, DEO Attock Secondary Mr. Akram Zia, DEO Elementary Taqi Shah, Deputy Director Public Relations Attock Shahzad Niaz along with other relevant officers of Education Department. On this occasion, DC Attock has also highlighted the importance of education and termed education as ‘the third eye of a human being.

He said that effective measures are required to be taken to ensure ‘education for all’ on a priority basis. DC Attock further said that the government of the Punjab will launch admissions from nursery to grade eighth in all public schools across the district. Moreover the children aged up to four years will be enrolled in the playgroup.
