A dacoit is reported to have been killed and other fled the scene during alleged police shootout in village Tabbi Bumbo, Mananwala.
According to police sources, most wanted dacoit Ashfaq alias Shaki was killed due to firing of his accomplices while another robber succeeded in making good escape from the scene during a police shootout in Tabbi Bumbo QB link canal.
Ashfaq was wanted by Farooqabad, Asgharabad and other police stations in several cases.
These dacoits snatched a motorcycle from a citizen in the limits of Farooqabad and fled the scene. In the meantime a police shootout took place near Tabbi Bumbo . Dacoits opened firing on police and during the exchange of firing, dacoit Ashfaq was killed by his own accomplices.
