Under the development and public welfare vision of the Punjab government, construction work on three mega projects including establishment of University of Hafizabad, construction of new District Headquarter Hospital and dual road from Kot Serwar Motorway Interchange to Gujranwala is in full swings with the total cost of Rs. 26 billion to ensure provision of better communicational, healthcare and higher education facilities to the masses.
This was stated by the Deputy Commissioner Hafizabad Toqeer Ilyas Chema while visiting ongoing development projects, on Thursday.
While inspecting under construction DHQ Hospital, DC said that use of quality material in ongoing projects was top priority of the Punjab government and district administration so that people of the district Hafizabad and other neighboring areas could get communicational, healthcare and educational facilities at the earliest. By the grace of almighty Allah, lantern is being put on first floor of DHQ, he said and added that Rs. 16 billion would be spent on construction of DHQ Hospital and University of Hafizabad. He also visited under construction road from Kot Sarwar Motorway Interchange to Gujranwala.
