Martyrs burried with full military honours

Namaz-e-Janaza of Lieutenant General Sarfraz Ali Shaheed, Major General Amjad Hanif Shaheed and Brigadier Muhammad Khalid Shaheed was offered at Army graveyard Rawalpindi on Wednesday.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Chairman Senate Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani, Federal Ministers, PM AJK, Foreign dignitaries and a large number of senior serving and retired military and civil officials and relatives of Shuhahda attended Namaze Janaza. Pakistan army military contingent presented guard of honour.

COAS Presented National Flag to the relatives of Shuhada. Jasd e Khaki of Shaheeds buried with full military honour at Army Graveyard.

Earlier, Chief of the Army Staff General Qamar Bajwa attended the funeral prayers of Lieutenant General Sarfraz Ali and Brigadier Muhammad Khalid at Quetta Garrison who embraced martyrdom in the Balochistan helicopter crash, the Inter-Services Public Relations said on Wednesday.

Balochistan Governor Mir Jan Muhammad Jamali, Chief Minister Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo, provincial ministers and several civil and military officials including relatives of the martyrs attended the funeral.

The COAS visited the families of Lt Gen Sarfraz Ali and Brig Muhammad Khalid as well as the family of Lt Colonel Laiq Baig Mirza who embraced martyrdom at Ziarat.

The mortal remains of the martyrs from the helicopter crash were moved to Rawalpindi. The Central Namaz-e-Janaza of Lt-Gen Sarfraz Ali, Major General Amjad Hanif and Brigadier Muhammad khalid were offered at Army Graveyard Rawalpindi. The martyrs were buried with full military honours, the ISPR added.

The funeral prayers for the other army personnel aboard the ill-fated helicopter were offered in their native towns.

The funeral prayers for Major Talha took place in Rawalpindi with the Chief of General Staff Pakistan Army Lt Gen Azhar Abbas, Lt Gen Sahir Shamshad Mirza, Commander Rawalpindi Corps, other military officials, relatives of the martyrs and other civilians in attendance.

A contingent of the Pakistan Army presented the guard of honour and the martyr was buried with full military honour. Commander Rawalpindi Corps presented the Pakistani flag to Maj Talha’s father, and a floral wreath was laid.

The funeral prayer for Naik Mudassar Fayyaz was offered at Shakargarh. General Officer Commanding Sialkot Garrison, and senior military and civil officials attended the funeral.

An army contingent presented the guard of honour, the national flag was presented, and floral wreaths were laid.

The funeral prayer for Maj Saeed was offered at Larkana with Commander Logistics Pannu Aqil Garrison, serving senior officers, soldiers, relatives of the martyr and several civilians attending the prayers.

Pakistan’s flag was presented to the martyr’s father and he was buried with full military honour.
