After the surge in Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) price, the rate of compressed natural gas (CNG) has also been increased by Rs2 per kg in Punjab on Saturday. Now the CNG is available at Rs79.20 in Lahore.
Earlier, Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) issued a price-revision notification of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) for the month of November. As per the notification, the authority increased the locally produced LPG price by Rs114.05 per cylinder of 11.8 kg.
Meanwhile, Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority has fixed the LPG rate at Rs129,689.49 per metric tonne (MT) for the month of November. The new price was effective from November 1.
The price of CNG in Sindh is still cheaper than other provinces.
