Consul General of Italy Danilo Giurdanella called on Sindh Government Spokesperson and Advisor on Law and Environment Barrister Murtaza Wahab on Wednesday. The meeting took place at the Sindh government spokesman’s office and bilateral issues were discussed. The Italian Consul General said in the meeting that the culture of Sindh is very rich, colorful and ancient.
Later, the Sindh government spokesman took the Italian Consul General on a tour of the Sindh Assembly Building and also visited the People’s Square under the supervision of the Sindh government. The Italian Consul General said that he had visited Tharparkar and Umerkot a few days ago and was impressed by the infrastructure and cultural heritage there and the quality of development work in the communications sector of the Sindh government was very high.
The Italian Consul General assured the Adviser of his support for the Italian government’s development work, especially in the field of environment, and said that the friendship journey between Italy and Pakistan has now taken a new direction.
