POLITICAL stalwart and veteran politician Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain is the only party leader who has categorically condemned unnecessary political point scoring at the losses caused by torrential rains and heavy floods. The entire nation is suffering because of heavy rains and floods. The calamity has exposed the work and worth of the political leadership of different parties and officials of the institutions. Chairman Pakistan Muslim League-Q is the only main stream political party leader who has not made the devastating conditions an opportunity for political gains. Following the directions of the party leadership Muhammad Yousaf Khan Hoti, Senior Vice President PML-Q has timely started visiting different worst rains and flood hit parts of the country. On behalf of the party recently he is seen amongst, Bonair, Behrain, Charsadda and Swat.
In 2018 general elections PML-Q couldn’t win from KP but when rains and flood caused serious troubles to the masses in KP the party leader Yousaf Hoti was present among the poor masses of the province. Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain has directed Hoti to reach all the calamity hit areas of the country. In KP Pakistan Tehreek-e-insaf has been ruling for the last seven years but it’s leadership from Swat, Charsadda, Bonair and Bahrain is not seen any where. What to talk about Prime Minister Imran Khan even Chief Minister KP Mehmood Khan isn’t yet seen present amongst the masses in water. Governor KP Shah Farman too is doing nothing for the masses and eventually the party. Jamat-e-Islami, Jamiat Ulema-e-Pakistan, Pakistan People’s Party and Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz remained totally irrelevant with the calamity and hence the deprived masses. Different political parties are busy in the arrangements of All Parties Conference (APC) to be held in federal capital on 20 September. PML-N leaders both Shahbaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz are managing photo shoots in political mileage shadowed by Nawaz Sharif.
None of them seems worried about those who are facing hardships caused by torrential rains, heavy floods and unbearable utility bills. Political deliverance of Chief Minister KP Mehmood Khan and Governor KP Shah Farman will decide future of the ruling Party Pakistan Terhreek e Insaf. Imran Khan will have to enhance the performance level of his team in KP in particular because the party has been ruling in the province for the last seven years. After years long rule of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in KP it seems the ruling party is loosing it’s grip in provincial government. If at this stage PTI authorities could not handle the situation next parliamentary elections will become a dream only.
Shah Farman seems to conclude his time in Governor House and it seems active and effective politician like Yousaf Hoti may deliver more effectively as Governor KP. Imran Khan should replace Mehmood Khan and Shah Farman and take potential politicians for both of slots. As a coalition partner PML-Q seems moving potential politician Hoti for governorship. Because of strong Pukhtoon political background Hoti may deliver far better.
Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain has decided to reorganize PML-Q in the entire country. In this regard main responsibility of contacting the political personalities, diplomats and masses have been given to Yousaf Hoti. On behalf of PM-Q Mr Hoti soon will start his series of meetings with Foreign Ministers of different countries. PM-Q the only political party is puposfully grooming its Governor and Foreign Minister slot candidate. It shows Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain’s confidence in the capability, capacity and potential of upcoming Hoti. None of the other political parties is seriously preparing its main slot leadership.
During his last term Nawaz Sharif as Prime Minister for a long time did not announce foreign minister for Pakistan. He announced name of Khawaja Muhammad Asif but when in a case pushed to the wall by the courts. Same is the scene in Pakistan People’s Party. PPP too has never groomed any politician for the slot of Foreign Minister, Finance Minister, Prime Minister and President. Political parties of America, Great Britain, China, Russia, Canada, Germany, France and India always groom their candidates for future Foreign Minister, Finance Minister, Prime Minister and President. Because of such grooming, political parties of these countries always deliver positively on political and diplomatic fronts.
Government of Pakistan should also establish international level institutions in the country where potential politicians could be groomed and made ready to serve the country and the nation. Before contesting elections it should have been mandatory for all the political parties to announce their qualified candidates for the slots of Foreign Minister, Finance Minister, Prime Minister and the President. Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain has decided to groom Yousaf Hoti for mainstream slot of leadership which is quite unusual in our country. In this regard all the political parties need to follow excellent vision of Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain. Before contesting elections because of clear declaration of top slot candidates the voters would be having clear picture of the party team. This way neither political parties will be confused nor the voters and supporters.
