Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Pakistan Railways (PR) Aamir Baloch and Federal Government Inspector of Railways (FGIR) Hammad Mirza, accompanied by Divisional Superintendent (DS) Railways Karachi Nasir Khalili, have completed the annual inspection of the Karachi Division. During the inspection, various departments, including Commercial, Civil, Mechanical, and Transportation, were evaluated for their standards and performance.
DS Karachi Nasir Khalili briefed the senior officials about the division’s performance and ongoing efforts to improve railway operations. The officials appreciated the DS Karachi for his initiatives in maintaining railway installations, ensuring their safety, and providing improved facilities to passengers. According to a spokesperson for Karachi Railways, the primary objective of the annual inspection was to review the railway stations and installations from Karachi Cantt Station to Tando Adam.
The aim was to enhance service quality and offer better travel facilities to the public. Additionally, the inspection focused on recognizing the efforts of officers and employees who had shown exceptional performance and contributed significantly to the improvement of railways.
On this occasion, railway officials awarded and commended the employees for their outstanding contributions. Senior officials, including Chief Operating Superintendent Maryam Gilani and Chief Commercial Manager Syed Ali Rizwan Rizvi, were also present during the visit.
