Capital Development Authority (CDA) has tasked the Engineering Wing of the CDA to supervise drainage of water as results of recent rain spells.
The Engineering Wing of the authority has been directed to ensure immediate drainage of water during and after the monsoon rains.
In line with the instructions of the CDA management, Roads Directorate (North), Road Directorate (South), Markets and Road Maintenance Directorate and other concerned formations of the authority along with other concerned departments remained busy in draining water accumulated due to heavy rainfall on Tuesday night and Wednesday morning.
On the instructions of the management, Director General Works visited different areas of the city particularly at Faizabad Interchange. In this context, teams comprising different directorates have been deputed at Faizabad Interchange and I-8 Interchange (Western side) and drained water from the vicinity.
