Cash, diamond and gold jewelry and other valuables worth more than 10 million rupees were robbed in two separate hits.
In the first incident according to the police, some unknown burglars made their entry in the house of a businessman, Shahid Mehmood, while he was abroad by breaking the door locks of his residence at Shahzada Shaheed road, in the limits of the Cantt police station.
The accused managed to steal a digital locker from the house containing, 70 ‘tolas’ of gold ornaments worth more than 7.5 million rupees, diamond ornaments worth more than 1.3 million rupees and 1.2 million rupees in cash.
