At least five people, including a newlywed bride, were killed and others sustained serious injuries as their jeep plunged into ravine near Churkalan area in Mansehra early Friday.As per details, Police and rescue officials, after being informed, rushed to the scene and shifted the bodies and the injured to hospital.
Police official said that the jeep, carrying the bride and other participants of the wedding procession, was on its way when the driver lost his control over the steering while taking a sharp turn and the jeep plunged into deep ravine, private news channel reported.
Meanwhile, our Correspondent from Attock reported that three killed in different incidents. Three persons including a toddler were killed in three different incidents in various parts of Attock on Friday. In first incident, a motorcyclist was crushed to death by a speedy trailer at Khunda chowk in limits of Jand Police station.
Separately a two years old boy drowned in water tank in Amanpur village in limits of Pindigheab Police station. Police sources said that Aamir Saeed was playing in courtyard of his house when he slipped in to the underground water tank and drowned.
Moreover, a 70 years old man was shot dead over old enmity in Khunda village in limits of Bassal Police station on Friday. Police sources said that Lall Khan was going towards his fields, when assailants hiding opened firing at him resultantly he received bullet injuries and died on the spot. Respective Police registered separate cases and started further investigation.
