Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari presided over a high-level meeting at Bilawal House to deliberate on the country’s overall political situation and assess the progress of commitments made by the federal government.

The meeting was attended by Punjab Governor Sardar Salim Haider, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti, and senior PPP leader and Member of National Assembly Syed Naveed Qamar. Participants provided detailed briefings on the progress of negotiations with the federal government and shared insights into upcoming legislative measures.

They expressed dissatisfaction over the lack of substantial progress on assurances provided by the federal government to various provinces. Chairman Bilawal Bhutto directed participants to intensify their engagement with the federal government.

He emphasized the importance of achieving tangible outcomes before the Central Executive Committee (CEC) meeting of the PPP. “Ensure that meaningful results are brought to the table for discussion,” he urged.
