Bilal Gilani joins Gallup Int’l board

Gallup Pakistan is proud to announce the appointment of its Executive Director, Bilal I Gilani, to the Gallup International Association Board. This prestigious appointment was made during the General Assembly held in Kuala Lumpur in May 2024. Bilal I Gilani’s addition to the Board is a reflection of his vast experience and unwavering commitment to advancing public opinion research both in Pakistan and on a global scale.

His participation is expected to offer valuable insights that will further strengthen Gallup International’s mission to accurately capture and represent global public opinion. During the General Assembly, a new Board and President were elected to lead the Gallup International Association in its ongoing mission to deliver top-tier public opinion research worldwide. Michael Nitsche, the owner of Gallup Austria, was selected as the new President.

The newly elected Board comprises prominent professionals from various countries, including Johnny Heald of ORB International (UK), Bilal I Gilani of Gallup Pakistan, ArwaDaghir of IIACSS (Iraq), TorbjörnSjöström of Gallup Nordic/Novus (Sweden), Ani Lortkipandize of GORBI (Georgia), Michael Nitsche of Gallup Austria, KanchoStoychev of BBSS (Bulgaria), and Luis H. Cardona of SigmaDos (Spain).

These appointments underscore Gallup International Association’s commitment to cultivating a diverse and skilled leadership team, capable of driving innovation and maintaining the organization’s high standards of research excellence. Bilal I Gilani, who has been with Gallup Pakistan since 2009 and brings over 15 years of experience in opinion polling, is expected to make substantial contributions to the Board.
