In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference has urged the international community to take cognizance of the atmosphere of terror created by Narendra Modi-led fascist Indian government in the territory.
The APHC spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar said that the Modi regime had stepped up its brutalities in IIOJK after abrogating the special status of the territory on August 05, 2019.
He said that the Indian state terrorism witnessed further upsurge after the custodial demise of the veteran Hurriyat leader, Syed Ali Gilani, on 1st September, 2021.
The spokesman pointed out that Indian troops and police personnel are subjecting the people of the occupied territory to humiliation and intimidation to suppress their resolve for freedom.
He called upon the world human rights organizations to hold India accountable for the gross human rights violations being perpetrated by Indian forces’ personnel in IIOJK.
The Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Political Movement, Khawaja Firdous, in a statement in Srinagar said that India was using cheap tactics to suppress the Kashmiris’ just freedom struggle but would never succeed in its nefarious designs.
The Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League leaders, Mohammad Hamza and Rayis Ahmed, addressing a condolence meeting in Srinagar called for peaceful resolution of the Kashmir dispute to bring to an end the killing of innocent Kashmiris by Indian troops in the territory.
On the other hand, Peoples Democratic Party President, Mehbooba Mufti, talking to reporters in Rajouri said that the environment in IIOJK after August 5, 2019, had become suffocating.
She said the Modi regime is projecting Kashmir’s silence as normalcy before the world but everybody knows about the deteriorating condition of the territory.
