The Azad Kashmir chapter of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC-AJK) while expressing grief over the death of senior freedom leader Ghulam Hassan Lone and Haji Muhammad Sultan Shah said that their services in the freedom movement would always be remembered.
APHC-AJK held a condolence meeting at its office in Islamabad, today, to remember the two freedom leaders Ghulam Hassan Lone and Haji Muhammad Sultan Shah.
APHC-AJK Convener Mohammad Farooq Rehmani on the occasion offered heartfelt condolences with the families of the deceased. He also expressed condolences with Abdullah Gilani Imitiaz Mir over death of their mother and mother-in-law respectively.
APHC also remembered former APHC leader Muzzafer Shah on his first death anniversary.
The Hurriyat leaders prayed to Allah Almighty to forgive all for their slips and shortcomings and give their families the courage and to endure the trauma. Meanwhile, in another condolence meeting, APHC-AJK expressed solidarity with the bereaved families of senior journalists Shabbir Hussain (Gilgiti) and Khalid Hameed Farooqui, who died of heart attacks in Islamabad and London respectively.
APHC-AJK Convener, Muhammad Farooq Rehmani on the occasion said that he was saddened to hear the news of the deaths of senior journalists Shabbir Hussain and Khalid Hameed.
“The services of late Shabbir Hussain and Khalid Hameed in the field of journalism will always be remembered”, he added. The APHC-AJK office bearers, members and staff also expressed their sympathy woth the bereaved families and prayed that Almighty Allah may rest the departed souls in eternal peace.—KMS
