ISLAMABAD – Pakistan and UAE flight segment saw huge influx of passengers that prompted high flight costs but now Pakistan’s budget-friendly airline Fly Jinnah decided to expand its network with flight operations to United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Fly Jinnah was widely used by Pakistanis for domestic travel without having a hole in their pocket and now the airline is set to launch its first international flight from Islamabad to Sharjah after mid of this month. The first flight between Islamabad and Sharjah will be launched on February 17, 2024.

Previously, Fly Jinnah operated in Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad, Peshawar, and Quetta, and now it added a sixth destination, UAE.

As Fly Jinnah taps the international flight segment, the airline added two new Airbus A320 aircraft to its fleet.

A statement issued by the airline said “Fly Jinnah will connect both cities with non-stop double daily flights, offering customers seamless and convenient travel options. The new service will also provide customers in Islamabad with the opportunity for further connectivity via Sharjah Airport’s wide network”.

In 2023, Pakistani aviation authorities allowed Fly Jinnah to operate domestic flight operations, and it remains among widely used air carriers.

Fly Jinnah, which is owned by Lakson Group and Air Arabia Group, managed to take a healthy share in flight segments despite having a limited fleet.

As per the Civil Aviation Authority report, Fly Jinnah remains the top choice with over 80 percent flight punctuality rate.

The airline is highly praised by travelers for its comfort and the inclusion of a diverse sky menu, providing increased flexibility with a variety of foods to choose from.
