Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf Chief Imran Khan has said that the government’s move to amend the constitution was aimed ‘to give extension to three umpires and thus protect the February 8 fraud election’ Talking to media in Adyala Jail today, he named the ‘three umpires’ as Chief Justice of Pakistan, Chief Justice Islamabad High Court and Chief Election Commissioner.

“The revolution that unfurled on February 8 was beyond their conceptions. The PTI won the elections without even contesting them. Yasmin Rashid won the polls despite being in jail but 74000 (bogus) votes were cast in favour of Nawaz Sharif,” Imran Khan claimed.

He said, “They fear that if QaziFaez Isa is removed, investigation would be opened into May 9 and the fraud elections.”
The PTI chief said that on May 9 an attempt was made to eliminate our party. Then by delaying the elections, they tried to fully crush it.
