Ali Nasir Rizvi replaces Akbar Nasir as new Islamabad IGP

ISLAMABAD – The federal government on Friday appointed Ali Nasir Rizvi as Inspector General of Police Islamabad.

Akbar Nasir has been directed to report to Establishment Division. The new top cop of capital remained at several key position in his career. He served as DIG Operations Lahore, SSP Operations, DPO Kasur, and other coveted positions during his services.

Establishment Division also picked Khurram Agha as new secretary interior.
