The Arts Council of Pakistan on Saturday dazzled audiences with its grand event, “Dance Junction Volume II,” held at the Open-Air Theatre. The event aimed to pay tribute to Pakistani filmi music and featured the esteemed presence of President Muhammad Ahmed Shah, along with renowned dancer Wahab Shah, Nighat Chaudhry, and other notable performers.
“Dance Junction” showcased a myriad of captivating performances by talented dancers and groups, drawing a large crowd.
President Muhammad Ahmed Shah emphasized the Arts Council’s role in promoting the fine arts industry, emphasizing a safe and inclusive environment for artistic expression. Renowned dancer Wahab Shah lauded the event’s inclusivity, with nearly a hundred individuals auditioning, many for the first time on stage. The event culminated in a breathtaking finale, featuring enchanting dances to iconic songs from the 70s, leaving the audience spellbound.
