AAC expresses condolence with journalist

In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Jammu and Kashmir Awami Action Committee (AAC), headed by Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, has ex-pressed grief over the demise of the mother of sen-ior journalist and a distinguished member of civil society Imdad Saqi.

In a statement issued in Srinagar, the AAC, on behalf of its leadership, especially its Chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq expressed heartfelt condo-lences with Imdad Saqi and other bereaved family members.

Meanwhile, a high-level delegation of the AAC comprising Haji Ghulam Qadir Beig, Mushtaq Ah-med Sofi, Muhammad Yousuf Butt, and Maulana MS Rehman Shams visited Baghwanpura, Lalbazar area of Srinagar and offered condolences to Imdad Saqi on behalf of Mirwaiz. The delegation also of-fered Fateha for the departed soul.—KMS
