Plastic free Abbottabad campaign is in full swing and Deputy Commissioner Abbottabad Amir Afaq has said that with the help of local traders, 10,000 cloth bags will be distributed among the general public through different venders. This he said while talking to traders and general public while visiting the bazaar and distribution of cloth bags among shopkeeper’s especially vegetable shops, fruit sellers, food stuff suppliers and Karyana Shops in the vegetable market, sadder bazaar.
Deputy Commissioner Amir Afaq was accompanied by the president All Traders, Naeem Awan, other office bearers namely Sardar Sher Dil, Mufti Jaffar and others. He told that section 144 has been already imposed on the manufacturing and selling of polyphone bags in the district and violators will be booked as per law.
DC further told that under the “clean & Green” Abbottabad, a forceful campaign is being launched.
